Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site sets none. This page lists the little it does keep in your browser, and why.

Two kinds of browser storage, each used only for something you asked for. Neither is sent anywhere, and neither identifies you.

  • Your Pause motion choice. Press Pause motion at the foot of any page and your browser keeps one setting, sl-motion-paused, so the site stays still on your next pages and visits. Press it again and the setting is removed.
  • Your place on a page. When you reload a page or come back to it, the site returns you to where you were. That position, and a note that brings you back to the Pause motion button after it reloads the page, are kept for that tab only and are gone when you close it.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and measures how fast pages load. Cloudflare says it uses no cookies or other browser storage for this and does not track you over time.

Cloudflare protects the site. If it ever asks your browser to pass a security check, it may set its own cookie, cf_clearance, so you are not asked again straight away. That cookie is there only to keep the site secure.

The films, the fonts and the site's own scripts all come from scoluo.com. The one exception is Cloudflare's Web Analytics script, described above. There are no social media buttons, embedded players, ad networks or tracking pixels, and the Instagram link loads nothing until you click it.

Nothing here is used for advertising or to track you, and each item is needed for something you asked for or for the security of the site. So there is no banner to click. If the site ever adds anything that needs your consent, it will ask first.

You can clear everything the site keeps by clearing this site's data in your browser's settings. The site works the same without it. It only forgets your Pause motion choice.

If anything here changes, this page will say so, with the new date at the top. The privacy policy covers everything else the site collects.
